Our camps are not just day care. They are an immersive experience into the great outdoors or a world of magic. Visit out Instagram page @theranchtoday to see our camps throughout the years.

Make sure your child’s account information is current, in their online account. Call our office at (415) 435-4355 ext. 0 if you need assistance updating an account. Please note, age restrictions for camps are calculated based on September 1st. For example, if the camp lists a minimum age of 6 years, then the child abe at least 6 years old as of September 1st. All other camps are set to calculate age based on the start date of the camp.


Angel Island Day Camp

Experience over 45 years of outdoor summer camp traditions that include fishing, kayaking, scavenger hunts, hikes, games and more. Each week boasts a different theme to keep things fresh—counselors are children are encouraged to dress for the theme each Wednesday. Campers are divided into age groups and are transported to Angel Island State Park daily. Register based on your age group and drop off/pick up location of Tiburon (Town Hall) or San Francisco (Ferry Building).

Starfish: Campers entering Grades 1-2 in Fall 2023

Fantastical Adventures Camp

Bringing books & movies to life to allows campers to experience the series they love! We transform our Dairy Knoll Center according to the camp, so they are immersed in each magical world. Ages vary based on weekly theme. Register based on your drop off/pick up location of Tiburon (Dairy Knoll Center) or San Francisco (Ferry Building). Ferry fees are included for campers who select San Francisco as their drop off/pick up location.

Art & Garden Camp

Art & Garden Camp offers experiences for children at the beautiful Landmarks Art & Garden Center located along Tiburon Boulevard. Children connect with nature through educational lessons paired with arts & crafts projects. This camp is specifically designed for children aged 4-7 years.

Campus Kids Day Camp

Welcome to Campus Kids! This camp is specifically designed for children aged 4-5 years with Ranch Staff. Enjoy our traditional summer camp activities at our local Reed campus. Our classroom and outdoor setting will make for an easy transition for back to school come August. Each week will have a games, sports, songs, and arts & crafts based on a theme in a nurturing environment. Pack a lunch, wear layers and sunscreen, and be prepared to have some messy fun!

NEW! 4-5 YEAR OLD CAMPS Higgins Tennis Camps for TK/K are a great way for kids to jump into tennis. Not only do kids learn forehands and backhands, play fun games like Feed the Monkeys and Animal Tennis, earn Higgins Bucks, do a Buck Hunt, and get to buy prizes at the Bucks Store, BUT they also learn how to follow directions, increase their focus, learn classroom manners, and practice all the skills they will need to get ready for school!

6-12 YEAR OLD CAMPS This tennis camp is for beginners to intermediate players aged 6-12 years. Children are divided by age and level. All camps feature: development of tennis strokes, rallying skills, and competitive play that is age appropriate. Campers learn teamwork, make friends, and enjoy fun games like Angry Birds Tennis, Skyball, and Big Kahuna. All camps feature HIGGINS BUCKS, Water Fun Day (no swimming), and the Higgins Bucks Store where children buy prizes on Fridays!

  C.I.T. (Counselor in Training) Program

First Year CIT Application

Returning CIT Application

The CIT Program is for campers who have completed 7th grade by June and are under the age of 16 years. This is a specialized camp leadership program where campers will learn job training, behavior and risk management, communication, decision making, program planning and team building.
The program is meant to develop future leaders for camp and all other aspects of life. Spots are available at Angel Island Camp, Fantastical Adventures Camps and Art & Garden Camp. Campers who are interested in the program must register for their desired 2 week session. They do not work over the weekend. Post registration CIT’s will be need to meet the requirements of the CIT program, which will include filling out an application and gathering letters of recommendation. Register early, as space is limited!

Requirements
-Completion of 7th grade by June and are under the age of 16 years
-Completion of the CIT Application Packet
-Letter of Reference from a non-familial adult (First Year CITs only)
-Committal to a minimum of 2 full weeks of camp (First Year Angel Island CITs must commit to 2 consecutive weeks of camp)
-Able to attend each day of the assigned camp weeks, Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm
