While Angel Island and our Fantastical Adventures Day Camps are some of our most popular summer programs, we also offer camps and classes that are run by outside instructors and organizations that specialize in a specific field.

Fashion Design Summer Camp is a creative program centered on design sewing and textile design. Campers will learn the basic sewing patterns of fabrics and notions. Over 40 projects to choose from and the campers access a variety of beautiful fabrics and patterns. Campers will make skirts, scarves, sundresses, bags and matching accessories. Lunch is included.

Learn how to play in band! Drums! Bass! Guitar! Piano! Vocals! Fun music theory games, world music, instrument building and community building games to be played throughout. YPI's Legendary Summer Camp offers exceptional 2:1 student teacher ratio with skilled and compassionate musician teachers and talented high school interns who know how to teach your students individual learning style.

Do you get excited about trick shots, game reviews, vlogs, or something even cooler? At YouTube Stars, we’ll work together to plan, film, edit, upload, and promote our own videos on YouTube! We’ll learn how to use Android smartphones and readily available

Ages: Children entering Kindergarten in the Fall of 2020 
Location: Dairy Knoll, Room 3
Fee: $410 
Being prepared for kindergarten is important to ensure that each child experiences a positive, happy and academically successful year in school. This week-long program will introduce children to early literacy skills including phonemic awareness, vocabulary development, comprehension, listening and speaking skills; math, including the Kindergarten Common Core strands of geometry, numeracy, measurement, and concepts of time; fine motor skills and handwriting; cooperation, following directions, and independence. The activities will be embedded in a developmentally appropriate environment encouraging creative play, exploration and discovery. Children enrolled in any public/private kindergarten for the Fall 2019 school year are eligible to attend. The teacher to child ratio will be 1:6. Enrollment is limited to a maximum of 16 children. Nancy Cappelloni taught and consulted in kindergarten at Reed School from 1997 to 2014. She holds a Doctorate in Education from the University of San Francisco, where she teaches in the School of Education. Dr. Cappelloni works privately as an Educational Consultant in Tiburon.

Camp Cancellations will be processed less a $50 cancellation fee. NO REFUNDS will be given for cancellations made within the 4 weeks leading upto the start date of your camp session. No refunds will be issued due to illness.
Camp Transfers must be made at least 1 week prior to you camp session’s start date and will incur a $15 transfer fee.
