YOUTH PROGRAMS

What You Need to Know Prior to Youth Program Enrollment for Fall 2020
  • Programs will be conducted in groups of 14 children and they will be kept separated at all times. No rotations and no requests for group transfers will be allowed.
  • Parents, guardians and non-essential visitors will not be allowed to enter program sites.
  • Children over the age of 2 years will be required to wear masks as much as possible. Children must bring their own labeled mask with them daily. Children the age of 12 years or older must wear a mask at all times.
  • We will not be able to accept out of state participants at this time. Efforts to have participants from local areas is of utmost priority.
  • We cannot accept children if within 14 days of their arrival they have had a fever over 100.4F, cough, shortness of breath, diarrhea, fatigue, headache, muscle aches, nausea, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, vomiting or any other indication of the COVID-19 virus.
  • We cannot accept a child that has been in close contact with a person who has been diagnosed, tested or quarantined due to a result of COVID-19.
  • Child participants may only participate in no more than 2 programs at a time.
  • Youth Program cancellations will be processed less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations must be requested at least 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the start date of your program session. NO REFUNDS will be given for cancellations made with less than 2 weeks' notice.
  • Prorated refunds will only be offered if a participant or family member is ill and unable to return, with proof of a doctor's note. With such limited spaces available, we want each enrollment to be taken seriously and with the understanding that our funds are tight and we will not be able to offer refunds if participants drop out for any other reason.
  • You must be willing to allow The Ranch staff to take temperature checks upon arrival and throughout the day. The Ranch staff are not doctors and nurses, but we will follow CDC and MHHS protocols for testing and logging test results.
  • Participant information may be released to MHHS for contract casing investigations if there is a case of COVID-19 within the program.
  • Children that are considered high risk should seriously consider participating in a program before registering. Consulting your doctor before registering a high risk participant is recommended. High Risk participants are those with a chronic lung disease, asthma, heart conditions, immunocompromised, obese, diabetic, or any form of liver or kidney disease.
  • We cannot guarantee that staff or participants will not contract or not be exposed to the COVID-19 virus.
  • Return to Program/Work: Follow return to work guidance for COVID-19 cases and close contacts. COVID-19 positive or suspected COVID-19 staff/participants may return to program/work if:
    • It has been 10 days since testing positive for COVID-19 or the onset of symptoms AND symptoms are improving AND there has been no fever without the use of fever reducing medication in the past 72 hours (3 days).
