Are you interested in being a C.I.T. (“Counselor-In-Training”) this summer? C.I.T.s work closely with the camp staff at a variety of our camps. A C.I.T. is a camper enrolled in a specialized camp leadership program. Through practical experience, C.I.T.s learn about behavior management, risk management/safety awareness, communication, decision making, program planning and team building.

Camps are structured with the campers’ happiness and, most importantly, their safety in mind. To ensure the camp’s quality, we ask that only those who are genuinely interested in working with children, and are able to fulfill the commitment as outlined, apply to be a C.I.T. Your C.I.T. assignment can be discontinued at any time if it is in the best interest of the program/campers to do so.

The CIT program is meant to develop future leaders for camp and all other areas of life. Our goal is to give CITs the opportunity to gain confidence, pride and a sense of community and accomplishment.
